Nestle's "We Will Find You" £10,000 giveaway

"Free chocolate". That was the rather sneaky subject line that the clever PR person from Nestlé used to catch my eye as I scanned the new messages in my inbox ! After she'd grabbed my attention and got me to click through with the lure of some free KitKats (I'm a cheap date, what can I say ?!), I was actually really impressed by the giveaway that she wanted to tell me about. I have to admit, I thought it was just a publicity stunt but they've already found 2 winners, one in Scotland and one in London so there are really people winning them. It's better than Willy Wonka's golden tickets - these ones find you if you're a winner ! Read on for more information !

In a first of its kind promotion, KIT KAT is using cutting edge geolocation technology to track down six lucky winners across the UK and Ireland. Inside selected packs there will be a GPS enabled device which, when the winner pulls the tab, notifies the delivery team who will locate them within 24 hours and hand over a cheque for £10,000 (12,000 Euros)

KIT KAT’s pioneering We Will Find You promotion means winners won’t have to move a muscle to claim their prize, with the expert delivery team ready to overcome all obstacles to ensure they reach the chosen few in time!

There will be a total of £80,000 (€96,000) in prize money to be won, with the promotion running across four of Nestlé’s best-loved chocolate bars – KIT KAT 4 Finger, KIT KAT Chunky, Yorkie and Aero

Promotional packs will be in stores nationwide from the 10th September. With six bars offering a guaranteed £10,000 (€12,000) and a chance to win additional cash prizes online, KIT KAT fans are in for a real treat.

The Promotion is available on KIT KAT 4 Finger Milk (45g), KIT KAT Chunky Milk (48g), Aero Peppermint (40g) and Yorkie Milk (55g) packs featuring the ‘We Will Find You!’ promotional flash, while stocks last.
Closing date for claims and final entry of codes is midnight on 16.06.13

Disclosure : I received some KitKats but sadly none of them were winners. The chocolate was very nice though !
